Why consistency feels so hard
The Lemon Drop:
Consistency and discipline are challenging for many of us because they require sustained effort and delayed gratification in a world that often prioritizes instant results.
Our brains are wired to seek comfort and avoid discomfort, making it difficult to push through challenges or stick to routines when motivation wanes. Additionally, life’s distractions, unexpected setbacks, and self-doubt can derail even the best intentions.
The key to overcoming these obstacles lies in shifting focus from motivation, which fluctuates, to building habits that make consistency and discipline second nature.
